A Few Holiday Pics

While canoeing, we saw a Cardinal plant.

Having dinner overhanging the river!

Storm brewing!

Me!

Muskoka chairs posing!

The last of the wild raspberries!

Sunrise

Typical cottage country shot of White Pine.

It was nice to get away for a week!

Lovely set of photos. I love the picture of a beautiful sunset as well as the picture of the cardinal plant.

I never tried canoeing but I will try to do it in a nearby lake when we have free time.

Great sceneries - like I always say; what can be more recreational than being out in the nature!

Happy Weekend :-)

That last shot looks like an island my girl and I honeymooned on years ago. The lake was north of International Falls, and a little west as I recall -- the name of the lake escapes me. We canoed out and set up camp only to be awakened many times during the night by "island hopping bears", as described by persons dropping by to warn us of the danger. Don't try and outrun them in the canoe we were told, they can swim very fast and catch you.
Oh great!!!! Build up that fire!

Funny story, Goatman!
I love that shot because it reminds me of a Tom Thompson, Group of Seven painting, the best of Canadian artists.
