First Taste Of Winter!

Yesterday, we had our first wet snow of the season! It was blowing and flurrying for about 3 hours but luckily everything melted today! I am not ready for winter at all. Someone said The Farmer's Almanac predicted that this winter would be worse than last year. UGH! We did move in from the summer bedroom last night and tonight but it may warm up enough over the weekend to steal a few more nights there! Any more snow happening out there in your part of the world?

My dear lady, we did have a cold front move in yesterday to take our temperature from the 80s of late down to about 65.

I do hope we get snow here, we average one snowfall every 4 years!

But, I spent my first 26 years in the Hoserland (Great White North) so I sure do remember tha white stuff. Intimately

Happily no snow happening here, but then it would be a freak of nature if there was snow! That said, we had one of the coldest and wettest winters on record with snow on the mountains only disappearing a week or so ago.

MOI - no snow yet, thank goodness! It's waaaaaaaaaay too early in my book! We have had a first hard frost, though, and the garden is ready for its winter sleep. Hope you get a few more nights in the summer room!

Wow … those are some photos! Unless we get rain soon in So Cal this is likely to be the worst drought in decades. Strange, eh? Hope things work out better for both of us ;--)

OMG.. snow already!! None here yet but flurries where in the forecast for overnight. The first thing I did this morning was look out my window. Thankfully, no white stuff yet.

Snow, oh my. I cannot imagine it. I do remember once a long time ago, during a very cold winter in Florida, that we actually had some flurries. I took the children outside to see them in the streetlight. When I asked my husband if he wanted to go see it, he laughed and said "no." He had seen all he ever wanted to see in New York state.

Then you are a bit ahead of us in Oslo, Norway then. We've had some frost night, but the weather forecast on TV today recommended change to winter tires.

You know I love snow, but I can wait a month of so :-)
