Happy belated birthday!

Looks like he was smiling, leading me to infer he had a good time.

It looks like a lovely cake and I am glad he is secure enough to insist on it being pink. Mind you, not knowing what kind of icing it is, I would suppose it was originally coloured using available fruits (like strawberries or raspberries - though, blueberry season is definitely closer to his birthday).

I hope he had ice cream. What is a party without ice cream?

Nancy: He is a sweetie! He loved it! Thanks!

Diana: The icing was especially good. The secret was to add a cup of whipped cream with the icing sugar and cup of butter. Had never heard of that! And yes, I had some and did more insulin!

Richard: Thanks! He is most often smiling and loves celebrations.

Yeah, the pink thing from his mom's cakes is precious and cool I think. He is extremely secure and very assertive Type A personality.

Maybe when his mom made it but now it's likely Red Dye #4, but at 88, who cares if you're a little hyper?!!!

Actually, we didn't have ice cream...just too busy savouring the sweet icing and never thought of it!

Gr: Yeah, imagine!

Chase: Thanks! You would have loved this cake!

Grizz: Yes, he is! Wish I had his spryness now!

Twilite: Thanks, I'll tell him! He's say the secret was opening the bar every day for his before dinner drink of scotch or rum!

Old Old Lady: Thanks so much! I hope so too.

Maggie: Thanks, he is just that!
