Felines' Christmas!

My cats, Mooky and Socks, (the one with the white paws and chest) had a great time at Christmas!

They pulled off and played with the bows, guarded the tree, posed under it, fought over who got to lie on the tissue paper, drank from the tree stand, knocked a few ornaments down, ate a few ribbons, barfed them up along with some twist ties, and slept on our freshly unwrapped clothes pile! You could say they've read the book on how felines are to act at Christmas...well maybe wrote the book is more accurate!

Mother of Invention, wishing sometimes that I had the simple satisfaction of being a cat in my house!!

Meno: Me too. I'm a sucker for kittens too!

Brooksba: The whole house gets changed up at Christmas and it unsettles them so they just chase and boot around trying to figure it out.

Maggie: Thanks. (Our friends own a nursery and give us a Fraser Fir each year. They are perfect for decorating!)

Barbara: They do have an ideal life! Guess I wouldn't want to be an alley cat! (How is your old dog doing?)

Happy New Year to you both

Teri: Thanks. They are quite funny and very affectionate.
Same to you, Teri!

I can only chuckle. Mine rang the bells on the tree. I do not know what it is about paper, but that draws them like bees to honey. Maybe their touchies are too fine to set on just plain ole carpet!

Lynn: Thanks...same to you! I know you love kitties!

Renny: Yep, I'm about the best place a cat could end up! Same to you.

Old Lady: HA! Dunno, but it's like a magnet! They love the rustling sound too.

Beautiful photos and I'm a cat lover too...I cut a little doorway into a cardboard box and my cat loves to go inside to play and peek out and bat at my dog. Animals are such a joy and so much fun! I love your pretty decorations!

Lynclay: Thanks...I do love decorations! What a great idea about the door in the box for cats to play! I wonder which one of mine would claim it? Gotta try that soon for the winter doldrums!
