Harmony

For Teri over at Coffee Breath for Poetry Friday ...the subject was harmony...

harmony
sweet notes
on a page
in your voice
on the stage
in your heart
in a marriage
from the start
dueting your way through life
Mother of Invention, waxing poetic, as she is wont to do....

I really enjoy the use of prepositions to start each line in the middle. Nice way to give harmony to the poem about harmony.

Brooksba: Thanks! To be honest, I hadn't really noticed that pattern until you said that!!! It's just a broken type format I like to use...like the short lines and the way it looks on the page. I love that centre button! Makes it look way better than the old back to the left margin stuff! You have artistic talent and I have not. I guess any lies in my poetry as you can see on my blogs. Check some old ones out whenever the mood strikes! Thanks again.

You're right, Bobealia! Sometimes you think authors contrive so many intricate things and half the time, even the great writers don't!! THANKS!

Diana: Thanks so much! I love writing poetry..I'm a junkie!

Mona: Thanks! Glad you it evoked a close connection! You are lucky to have a husband with a beautiful voice. I sing a lot too and write the odd song. (and fake it on the guitar! Mostly for Gr. 1, 2, and 3!)

Two or more notes together are always more interesting than just plainsong. What a great poem!

Barbara: Thanks! You are so right, unless, of course, it is one beautiful bird's song! Then. it is simply melodious!
