Curiosity Trails!
The guys doing the tile work on our reno hadn't been gone 3 minutes when Mooks decided to inspect their work! Well, walking on the tile wasn't too bad so she kept right on "mookying" into the bathroom and did a hasty turnaround! (Is this a four-point-paw turn?!) As usual, she left her mark, as cats will do in one form or another.
Price of the tiles? $150
Price of grout and glue? $50
Price of the labour? $400
Mooky, mucking around? PRICELESS!
P.S. UPDATE!
I gave the tile guys their morning smile today when I left this old place mat I found while cleaning under the sink! It's the first thing I thought of doing when I saw it and I just couldn't resist. They got such a kick out of it.....a first no doubt! Mooky made them banana bread for morning coffee break!

Our cats are treasures, aren't they. I'll bet Mooky wonderedwhat he had gotten into when he stepped into that goo.
At least there was no harm done, and it was good for a smile. Bad kitty, indeed.

LOL! We like what you did to the placemat! Mooky, great job snoopervising the renovation work!

Perhaps you should consider taking up the tile and just having Mooki prints! It's very cute. Bet he had to spend a lot of paw grooming time after that!
Tuesday, February 12, 2008
Maybe Mooky considers herself to be some sort of "inspector".

Arthur would take the next plane and fly over to help with the tiles ! and now you have a private Walk of Fame like in Hollywood ! Please invite ALL famous cats to leave their prints !

That too funny with the place mate. Great idea.
The paw prints are forever, or not?!?
Happy Tuesday!

LOL - seal of approval?

Yes, those paw prints are forever.
And very amusing, with the place mat. You should post that to the "Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos" :)

All kitties are bad kitties at heart, which makes them so loveable. Who wants a creature that never is naughty?

haha, can you imagine what people without Cats really do miss (without knowing) of surprises, joy and love?
btw. I'll try to post CoT. My private PC with all my photos have given me a serious challenge (blogged), thus I must blog from my Office Computer, which do not have all the programs needed. But, as an optimistic person, I never give up.

Those are some really deliberate footprints.
She DOES look like a bad kitty. Oh, yes, she does.
Tuesday, February 12, 2008
No! Not a bad kitty! Not Mooky! I am glad she was able to give the workers a laugh. It's a shame those cute little footprints will be covered up by the tile. Big adventures!

Mooky just wanted to leave a permanent marker at your house! Those little feet going through your house just cracked me up. Very cute post! Happy COT..kitties bring so much joy!

Ha! Ha! Mooky leaves her prints! It makes me think There are prints of my dog when my father did a ground in front of the house. The best stars leave their prints!

That whole story with photos is just soooo cute. Of course I dont have to pay for her artwork...I think I would be the kind of peson to leave the footprints for the fun of it. I bet the guys did get a kick out of that placemat...adorable

How funny! I love the way you turned this around for all concerned and created and wonderful memory in the doing. Thanks for sharing. I passed on the Natural High list (after adding 3 of my own) today at Small Reflections and hopefully others will do likewise.
Hugs and blessings,

I think the kitty deserves a medal for going above and beyond it's normal job of getting into the middle of things they aren't supposed to.

Good 4 you Mookie, I bet the sauce was not too tasty!

I just love the "Mooky Adventures". She sure has an interesting time of it all. :-). I also love the tiles. I am hoping to do the same to my kitchen come this spring.

Mooky is immortalised beneath the tiles. Forever there will be Mooky Protection in your bathroom!

Ha, Mooky looks way too sweet to be a bad kitty, that placemat is soo cute! I really love that new floor tile and the earth colors in your house. They're my favorite colors! We need to get our bathroom floor redone and you just gave me an idea to get rid of that blue which we've had forever in there! Yummm banana bread is so good, those lucky workers!
Thursday, February 14, 2008
Thanks, everyone. We sure love Mooks and she makes us smile every day. I'd better give my other cat, Socks, some equal time! She's getting very jealous!

Aw, Mooky! I just love her! The tile looks gorgeous so far, MOI!

i'm being lazy - and leaving 2 comments for diff posts here as I'm heading out the door in 10 mins!
I think your cat is very cool - and that would make me laugh. Think I'd be happy with catprint flooring.
Dixie today was very peturbed by Gattina's post for cats on Tues - the talking cats had him running round looking for the interlopers. He didn't quite understand the computer... when he came over to the laptop he just gave it a lick then wandered off again. Fab!
As to 'time'.. I love your poetry - and often it makes me understand the form better than I used to. I can see how you make it work. One thing though - how do you bank time? I don't think we do over here.

perturbed? Oh - need to go back to spelling school.

I love how the wall color brings out the warm, yellow tones of the tile. Excellent choice!!
