Cats On Tuesday!

Gattina hosts this Cats on Tuesday so go visit her and all the other cat lovers and their famous felines!

Mooky loves a ring side seat and we can tell she's going to spend a lot of time looking out of our newly-added room at the back!

As part of the reno, they had to dig a huge hole in the basement for plumbing. Guess who discovered that?!! This is definitely an open unvitation to a cat!

Socks and Mooky hesitate to go outside on a snowy night.

And then, out she goes! We waste more heat waiting for their "Final Answer"!

Let sleeping cats lie! This is one of the rare times I found Socks (on the right) and Mooky sleeping so closely together!

I don't know where I got the "drawing" above but I know I'd never figure out how to do it!

We hadn't any snow since 3 years at least, but I remember that Arthur loved to play in it and it was so funny because I could only see his tail ! The hole in the wall is really a treasure for cats ! Under our living room we don't have a basement just an open place, guess who goes in there especially for doing some businesses when it is cold and rainy ?

Thanks, Gattina. Arthur's tail must be black> he'd blend right into all the snow here!
Cats can't resist holes!!

I don't understand what Mr. Linky is or how you use it...sorry! Guess I'll just have to visit all the cat people personally and explain!

That indecision regarding going out or staying in (and wasting precious heat) happens in this house with these darn dogs too.
Just this morning at 19 degress.

Yes that big hole would be more than mine could stand. In fact we are getting ready to build a room on and since our cats come in and out as they please, they have made the dirt pile their new litter box. I warned the contractor but he said they were used to it in homes with cats!

Your kitties are lovely! Happy COT.

Socks and Mooky are very lovely kitties. We have a curious cat that likes to disappear down holes and under floorboards.

My cat looks at me as if it were my fault when there is bad weather! Lol and meows, so I assist her out gently with my foot she then does whatever it is she needs to do and then sits on the window sil meowing crossly until I let her in ;)

Yes.. nothing better than all those windows if you are a cat (or a human) :-). And the hole.. definitely an invitation. It is going to be such a wonderful room when finished.

Mad-Kitty is terribly peeved that we've got snow. She likes to go out on the small deck off our bedroom but now it's cold! and snowy! and the birds are few!

It also seems to be all my fault.

I foresee a long winter.

Gewells: Hard to be patient at theses temps, eh? I want to boot her but then she turns and runs back in!

Deanna: Thanks! Our cats went through that stage of the GIANT litter box created by the builders in our driveway! They were sad when they backfilled!

Sarah: Thanks. Yes, they have to look in the tiniest of holes!

Barbara: Amazing to me that someone did that! It would never even occur to me.

Kuanyin: Thanks! So true.

Coll: Yes, we're all waiting anxiously! Can't wait for the fireplace to get hooked up and working!

Akelamalu: Thanks. They can be!

Divakitty: be my guest...mine will show you around!

Luna: Thanks! It goes under the whle addition!

Celeste: Thanks! They can be tricky subjects to capture.

Diana: Mine cope with that by sleeping all day and getting fat! Then, they hope one day they'll wake up and it'll be spring!

They are going to love that beautiful window (what a view!), I know what you mean about waiting for them to decide! As soon as I saw that "tunnel" tho, I couldn't help worrying! That would scare me to death because my cats are such good hiders and creepers that I would worry about them getting walled up in there! Whew. What a worrier I am!

Awwww ... your kitties live the good life! I must not let Ms. Kitty see what she's missing or I'd never hear the end of it. She DOES talk to me, and wonders why I let the "great white dumb beastie" live with us.
Hugs and blessings,

It snowed here two days ago. I let the cats out and they were quite surprised. After each step they would shake off their paws. They didn't get far.

Hey there R., just checking in in good part to see what's going on with the reno. It looks fantastic! Almost there, I guess. Will it be a cat-free zone? Good luck finishing up, C.

Great cat post and you know what: I envy Mooky who can see snow outside the window. We had some in Oslo last week, but not the rainy weather has taken it all :-(

andree:Well, they always find their way back out or in!

Storyteller: Mt cats are very spoiled and run our house!

Meno: I love when they do that "shake a keg" thing with each step!

Beverly: Thanks! I don't actually post more than a few times a week.

Toraa: Hope things are better now and that your daughter is safe AND that you find your glasses!

Clive: Thanks! The cats own the room already and do regular inspections! HA! We're 1/2 way at least.

renny: You can come look out our snowy window anytime!
