Mooky's Point of View!

It was tough but I think I finally nailed it!

I own all the way to this tree!

Hmmm....where else do I have to mark? Oh, way up where the workmen are tearing up all my favourite things!

This renovation is really scary!

I have to go around and rub my scent on everything again and again just to remind the builders who owns the place!

I wish I could capture my kitty in such varied ways. You have a wonderful "eye" and I love your captions. Clever indeed. Is this YOU singing "From the Soul Within?" I've been humming this song ever since hearing it for the first time yesterday.

Thanks again for sharing. I added a link to my Sacred Ruminations site so I can listen whenever I wish and others can enjoy discovering you as well.

A day in the life....

I love your "taking a shortcut" for the picture of the car in the barber window. I think I'm going to change it if that's okay with you. You have the caption knack!

Storyteller: Thanks for all these kind words! Yes, c'est moi who is singing. It was the first poem I ever turned into a song! I've only done 2 others. I'm thrilled you like it so much! The blogger at Words That Flow, on my sidebar, did the video for me and uploaded the whole thing as I know nothing about it! She's got a great site...lots of beauty pictures and interesting poetry.

Akelamalu: Yeah, I'm a sucker for a cutie wearing fur!!!

Twilite: Thanks! I love thinking up comments for pics.

Gr: Hey, thanks! Let's arrange a blind date! S rap? No, she's not a fighter!

Jocelyn: Usually she's too fast for me and I'm chasing her all over the yard!

Colleen: Thanks! Sure I don't mind, I'm flattered. I won a caption contest 29 times in a row once for The Toronto Sun paper. I just kept putting different names down instead of my own and I got 29 T-shirts which I passed on to my students who won the same contest in my Gr. 3 class! What a hoot!

Poor Mooky. Bet you never considered all the extra work this would cause her.

I will answer your question here ..:)

I wonder if you are at all familiar with sufi poetry .. that would explain a great deal about my poems as well.
and yes, it is true, it is upto the reader to interpret, and everyone interprets as their own experiences/ feelings/ mind are, but it IS nice to know what the writer is thinking about, isnt it? Mine arent too mysterious, there is longing here definitely... , as well as a sense of loss and regret. but while I am addressing the divine, many such poems are interpreted as just longing born of love.. romantic or otherwise. :)
