Early Snow Last Week

A surprise last weekend! It had all melted by dinner time and then tonight it's snowing again and they're predicting 10-20 cm! Maybe the kids will get a snow day from school!

Mooky followed in my footsteps...literally!

Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans! Have a great holiday.

Wow.. that is a lot of snow. Even after all of these years, there is still magic in the first snow fall. So far we have just a dusting.. but the air is certainly cold enough carrying the promise of more. Lovely photos. Mooky looks none to happy but he sure is a trooper to follow you even through all the white stuff.

Great shots. I got off two yesterday morning. It was the first snow in Ottawa (and Montreal). Today there is a lot more snow falling. Driving was brutally slow this morning and I left the house at 06:20 to get nice and early to work. sigh.

Mooky does not look amused.

Rapunzel: She's a doll! And all this snow must look pretty foreign to you!

Coll: Thanks. I am always excited at the first few snowfalls and I have to get my camera out. There is always a cat or two to follow me but then they forget how hard it is for them to get around!

Richard: Thanks! All our school buses were cancelled today. I went in to help and the class only had 7 kids to 3 of us adults/teachers. Now that's a great student-teacher ratio!

Akelamalu: I don't love snow...I just deal with it but I always pick snow scenes in art! Funny that!

Kilroy60: I'll have a gander! Congrats! You still spend more time on blogging than most I know. I've been gearing down...time just doesn't allow to read many blogs..sigh*

Beverly: Thanks so much for the visit. Mooky is a real soft, cuddly cutie!

Ah ... lovely snowy photos! Something we don't see here at the beach in So Cal. :)

Mookie IS brave indeed. I suspect Ms. Kitty would be headed for warmer climates ... never to be seen again.
Hugs and blessings,

Hi MOI! Goodness snow at this time of year? First snow? Normal? Seems like an early winter? Certainly a lovely sight but...do you have to shovel the snow yet? Pardon these silly questions. Cheerio.

Twilite: I think the snow looks so pretty. Yes, the first snow and we've had snow this time of year many times. We had a lot to shovel and we just got our second storm a few days ago. All the school buses were cancelled!

gewells: I love the first few snowfalls but I hate real cold and windy conditions. It does look lovely like the peaceful calm Christmas card scenes. Mooky is a neat cat.

Barbara: It seems to be here for real now that we've had two snowfalls! It was pretty cold and windy here today. I like the calm sunny and brilliant days with the snow.

Sorry! Missed Dan and Storyteller!

Dan: I AM a sucker for cute felines! Thanks for the visit, Dan.

Storyteller: She is braver than our other cat, Socks, who doesn't often venture out into this snowy weather. You are lucky to be where it's warm!

Renny: Yep! My husband's going skiing tomorrow!

Toraa: Yes, we only have 1 downhill place open though and the cross-country has only 15 k.

Hey, if I'm ever lucky enough to visit Norway, I'm looking you and renny up for sure!! Should we bring our canoe?!!!! HA!
