Flower Carts and Cats!

The Flower Shop next door to us has beautiful flowers displayed at the back of their place and it's neat to see all the new ones as they come in. My cat, Mooky, can often be seen hopping up and grabbing a spot on the cart!

My secret dream in life is that annuals would be perennials; I love the splashes of color that annuals provide so well. But, then again, some of those perennials can do the job as well.

Fun photos!

What a gorgeous scene and Mooky looks pretty as a picture sitting among the flowers! I love the roses in your last post!

Looks like you have a great neighbor! The last couple posts tell me I must have been on the right track when I did a garden post today.

I've always enjoyed coming to visit when I have time, commenting on this post and that. I'll be back for a run through again soon.

8-)

Wanted to take just a moment to invite you to post in the Friends of Kilroy carnival. Days are few to get a post in. What better than to ask friends to join in.

The folks you are linked with are eligible to submit posts. It's what you might call a two degrees of separation carnival.

Look forward to connect with you again soon.

Cheers!

Twilite: Yes, we have a lot of spacein our yard and I know space is a premium where you live in tall buildings and limited green space.

Jocelyn: Thanks. You're right but we're addicted to annuals! If there were none, Mooky might not have a cart to sit on!

Meno: It's a nice scene to look at when I'm in the back. Mooky has a great time IN and around the shop! There's always deliveries coming and going and an open door for her to go in just to say hi to the floral designers! They love her. She's their mascot!

Lynclay: Thanks, Lyn. I love the pink geraniums..they just got them in and I haven't seen this rich colour yet this year.

Kilroy: Thanks for the visit..I know you have a gazillion blogs to hit and your carnivals are well attended. I'll check it out, but you do know I have difficulty with links and sidebar stuff!

any crowded, elevated platform is a magnet no cat can resist. They'll sprawl to fill the available space, then slowly nudge the stuff around them until......CRASH!

I'm waiting for a picture of a plant on the ground.

Lotsa petunias? What are those?

Yes, I think free verse poetry is a joy. Thanks for visiting my post; the poem made me cry and I am not sure why. Thats what poetry should do: bring about an emotional response. Just my opinion, I am surely no poet but just a numbers' cruncher.

Bob: Yes, that's inevitable! I'll be on the lookout for the fallen plant photo op! She thinks she's so cool on this cart!

Mystic: I love the cart/wagon. You will love Pachebel.

It's Maggie, at Mindmoss,on my sifdebar that does it and she could tell you how.

Goatman:These are mostly geraniums.

You are right..it's my opinion too...a poet has accomplished his/her task if they evoke an emotional response, especially when it's the same emotion they had when writing it.

Renny: Ha! HA! Mooky loves it!

Toraa: Yeah, well, she loves flowers and plants so much she bites off all the leaves with pointed stems! Don't think the flower shop people like that!

It would be just too much of a temptation to live next to a flower shop. We'd eat nothing but beans but the yard would look great!
