A Day In The Life of Weather

Hot and hazy beginning! The humidity built up all day long.

And then the rain came pouring down, cooling everything just a little.

And finally, the thirst-quenched world emerges in all its beauty!

Drink it in!

Bleeding Hearts always remind me of laundry hanging on a line! I just saw white ones for the first time yesterday! I don't think I can call them "Bleeding" Hearts if they're not red though!

Yes, it's June!

You can almost hear the flowers say their thanks.

I like the little Bell Shaped ones...
Reminds me of the Cat Stevens song..
" I don't want no God on my Lawn
Just a FlowerI can help along...
Cause the soul of nobody knows
How a Flower grows.
How does a Flo-wer grow? ohowooa"

Do ya know it?
Can ya dig it?

Lynn: Thanks, Yahoo for flowers, eh?

Starry Nights: yes, so fresh! I love your yellow roses and your other neat pics. Nice show.

Thanks! I actually wrote that song and recorded it. Annelisa put it up for me.

Gr: Thanks. Such a simple but attractive thing, our garden flowers.

Clive: Ha! You must be talking about our mosquitoes...I thought you guys didn't get many??!! Thanks. Mr. Flower Garden Fiend actually let me plant 5 pots!!!

Steve: Yep and I can dig it just as I do the garden!!

Rapunzel: It is a very relaxed time after the storm subsides!

Meno: HA! Too many white blood cells! Or albino!

Twilite: I love storms up in my summer bedroom! Thanks.

Great post with lovely pics documenting the start of a wonderful season. I just love the end of spring and beginning of summer where you really see the nature growing - and it helps with a bit of rain of course:-)
Btw: Thanks for your visit and great comments on my summer declaration post from Scandinavia too!

Love your pictures, MOI - of the sun, the rain and the flowers... Looks more like the April showers we have here (except we don't seem to be getting them any more!)

Hope you're having a peaceful day!

I simply love this post. The beginning with the sun, the humidity that builds up, the rain and the gratitude from Mother Nature. I can smell it. And hear the flowers singing. And growing.

Excellent

The flowers are gorgeous. I have two white bleeding hearts (I posted pictures of them a couple of weeks ago- you should check them out).
They are one of my FAVORITE flowers.
The lily of the valley is also one of my favorites. Maybe I love them for their soft, dangly blossoms- like earrings, Ha!
Thanks for visiting my peace globe. I'm with you on having a hard time with these. It took me over 2 hours just to get that one up- I'm such an idiot with photoshop and paint(not very crative but at least it's up)

BTW- O.K,.O.K, if you insist I tag you for the meme I just posted.
And as far as Weight Watchers- yes, it did help. I think it is the most sensible program out there (it's a realistic way to live). No, I'm not on any maintenance program because I really should get my A** back there to lose more weight.
I would highly recommend it though.

The thing about rain on a humid day is that it doesn't help. It's just more moisture to hang there in the air.

Poo.

Barbara: It is and flowers make such great subjects! Zoom in is such fun to fool around with.

Renny: I can see how you'd love this time of year over in Oslo with everyone going to their summer houses!

Annelisa: Thanks AL! Yeah, we are just edging slowly towards a summer that is supposed to be hotter and drier than usual and rain is always good.

Toraa: Thanks so much! I'm glad you got refreshed from your visit here! Are you sure that wasn't me you really heard singing?!!!

Gewels: Thanks..you're right! Lily-of-the-valley DO look just like earrings!!

I don't even know how to use photoshop! I just have what's on Windows and I don't know how to get rid of red eye!

I'll do the blog origin thing soon.
You sure don't look like you need to lose much weight!

Colleen:That's true and always a plus!

Diana: It gets so humid and steamy here..hardly ever dry or arid.

Pauline: Thanks!

Jocelyn: Yeah, it seldom gets rid of it completely. I hate when even papers around the house get soggy!

Maggie: Thanks, Maggie! Still thinking about your 1' square garden.

Pretty pictures! I love it when the rain breaks the humidity. And bleeding hearts! LOVE them. They are one of my favorite flowers. Although I also really like snapdragons. And peonies. And tulips. And you'd think I'd actually have a garden since I like these flowers so much.

Great images. You reminded me of why I love summer.
