I love the pic of you with the geeeeetar. The purple dress pic doesn't enlarge for some reason it says "error" when I click on it.

It's so obvious what a people-person you are. I love these things that help me meet someone whom I haven't been able to meet in person!

Bobealia: Thanks..I like that one too! Don't know why that other lilac dress pic doesn't enlarge. Does it have anyhing to do with being saved as Bitmap or JPEG or something? I just found out today that if you clicked on pics on blogs, they enlarged! HA!
Barbara: Thanks..that is true...I have to be near people. I could never sit in a lab and do research!

lol! God I love your Olive Oil pic! You look so the part (and that isn't an insult... you seem to be able to slip into so many personalities [oh, just come from RDG's...so I've still got her post about not defining someone fresh in mind :-) ]) But, mostly, I think of you as in your last pic - I guess because that's how I first thought of you when we first 'met'- as a teacher!
You look gorgeous - stop worrying about your sugar fix's influence on your figure... really can't see it!

Annelisa: Thanks...I had a riot doing her with her long skinny legs going back and forth!
The last pic is more what I am daily throughout my daily teaching life.
Thanks...I hide fat well! HA!
Lynn: Glad you came to visit! If you see me at the Upper Can.Mall, you'll recognize me!

hi,
mother of invention,
to answer your question, yes, there really is a child writing on lily pad. :P she is eight years old now.
i do edit but just alittle bit, and i type it for her.
she really wanted to do it, and kept urging me till i gave in, reluctantly. but now she's lost the interest. so perhaps it was the right move :0
hmmm. i odnt now about advanced, perhaps it is just this generation, she has a friend who is one year elder who writes almost like an adult. and i think off the top of my head, i can think of a few more like that.

Hiding it behind the guitar, you mean? If you were to hold the guitar upright, your whole figure would be hidden - you're such an itty bitty thing! :-D

Mystic: Wow! I still think she's way ahead compared to the many I've taught over the years! Great to encourage her and be a model for her too!
Brooksba: Thanks!
Annelisa: HA! Why didn't I think of that!

Love the Olive Oil out fit... "Oh Popeye" in a high shrill voice...
When I was a kid, one of the first toys I remember was my Guitar with a hand crank on it that played the popeye song when you turned the handle...I loved that thing... is that the kind that you play?
"har-har-har"
I also loved my Casper doll with the pull string . Among other things he said "My name is Casper, will you be my friend?".
oh, yes, yes I will.

Steve: Isn't that a riot?! I should get some of my other character out and post them. You should too! At least Santa! I'd be your partner in crime for sure if I lived near you..I love getting dressed up and putting on voices!
I remember those guitars! And the Casper dolls! Do you still have them?
