I'd like to say thanks to all those who came to listen to my song, "From The Soul Within" and watch the wonderful video. I would never have done this without Annelisa's encouragement and most of all her technical knowledge! She has wonderful pictures on her blog! Check them out! Annelisa also has another blog that hosts her an amazing story and video about shaving 2 1/2 feet of her hair for Cancer!
I was really thrilled to have both song and video up on You-Tube and it's had about 740 hits!
Thanks again all the way from my house to yours!
Something really strange has happened to Old Blogger tonight...all of a sudden I can't make links work, half the top bar in Create Mode is gone so I can't centre poems, and when you upload pictures, they just appear in gobbly-gook computer language where it used to show actual pictures! Is this Blogger trying to take away my old familiar features until I give in and change to the New Blogger? If I change, do I lose anything in the Draft Mode? Will it show all the previous blogs? And how do I even get a Google account, let alone sign in with one? Oh woe is me!

Shifting to new blogger: I copied the whole html-code for my sidebar to a document.
Then changed, choosed a new lay-out, and published.
Discovered some missing links and features.
Then opened the template in one window, and the copied html-code.
Well, a litle struggle and work, and copy and paste: Voila.
What I see from your present blogdesign and sidebar, you should have no problem at all, maybe except for the sound - which I haven't had any experiences with so far.
PS. I'm really in love with your song.

I just switched to the 'new blogger'. I've put up one post, yesterday. Today, I can't access comments on my post and can't access about 1/2 of my fellow Blogger bloggers.
I have no html skills. I usually wait a few days and things sort out. If not, I put up a plea for help and my friends in the computer come to my aid.
As far as getting a Google account, I just clicked on the "so you want to switch to the new blogger" box that was offered when I went to sign on 2 days ago and it did the rest.
I'm of no help but of endless sympathy and empathy.

Thanks! yep, this is our house and yes, I'm still putting the white lights that are around the door and on the little trees and the blue lights on the big evergreens! Our house looks like it should be out in the country but we're on the main street. I love where we live and the house.

about google account. you need a gmail account first. easy to sign up if you go to gmail.com.
and then when you log in to old blogger, you sometimes see the option of changing the blog to new blogger. or you can search convert to new blogger. also, when you log in, try to update your user info to include the gmail account.
hope this helps. i know, i kind of went back and forth and thena ll of a sudden, it was ll done in a flash and everything in tact. just dont 'delete' your old accounts or
blogs. once you choose to convert, it will be automatically done and within a couple of hours blogger will send youa message to your gmail account that it is done.
and fromt hen on, you log in with your gmail login and password. its convenient actually, becos once you log into your gmail, you can acces blooger automatically, so helps for ocmment moderation etc.
hope this helps and i dint actually make u more confused.

No worries! I don't think you will lose your drafts, but just copy and past them (use your right click on your mouse) into a Word document first if you are worried. I'll send you an invitation to gmail in a minute and... you will figure it out!! It's easier to use the new Blogger I think, but it does take a little while to make everything the way you want it again, so be patient with it. You should use www.flickr.com for your pictures, so that you don't have to rely on Blogger. But leave that for another day.

Richard: I just want 1 blog for everything...I'd get confused and I wouldn't know how to transfr posts over to a new one. I'm pretty hopeless at this stuff..I didn't even create my 1st blog, a friend did, but at least I did this one. If it gets really confusing, I'll get Annelisa, the girl who put the song and video on You-Tube, to do it for me...and then I'll owe her big time! If I didn't have help I'd probably scrap the whole blog thing since this stuff just bothers and stresses me me. I'd continue reading others' blogs though!

Does gmail mean Google Account? What if I don't want another e-mail since I like the one I've got? Can you just create it for blogging and still use your other account for all other e-mail?

What a beautiful song and wonderful lyrics - it really touched my heart as I saw the pics running while listening: From wide scenery to the details of the nature. How gorgeously you have composed this!

Btw: Your winter, snowy pictures looks awfully good. As a Norwegian, I just love that kind of view too you known and having the in-laws over from the US, we happily was blessed with the same kind so that we could show them the Winter Wonder Land in the natural and best way.
