Playing Dress-up!

I love to dress up as different characters as you all saw in a recent post where I was sporting an Olive Oil outfit!

Another favourite character is the disheveled and haggy cleaner.
I usually black out some teeth, wear a kerchief and have rollers in my hair! I make a perfect hag!

Next you see me as a pioneer woman with two Gr. 6 students. We put on a whole assembly dressed like this and performed many songs, skits and a square dance, The Virginia Reel.

And last, at a sit com night, I dressed as Fran Drescher on Nanny! "Oh Mr. Schefield! Hehehehehe!" It was fun doing her nasal and annoying voice!

I've done a few more but these are all the pics I could easily find.

Hey Steve, at Bullet Holes In The Mailbox, I know you love to dress up as Santa and various characters so now you have a partner in crime! What's our next gig?!

Mother of Invention, but you can call me, "Mrs. Dress-up"!

Well Mrs. Dress-up, you certainly had fun here. But don't you think you are to old for this childish behaviour? LOL.

Once upon a time (yeah, it's many years ago), my daughter was so hanged up in Brides, well we dressed her like a bride. Then she said: Papa, you must dress up like my mother. And I did. I'll hope to find those picters one of these days - to be scanned in to my new computer, which I expects in some weeks time.

PS. Take care with your heart.

Love the pics (pity I couldn't enlarge the first one and see it clearer :-( ) In the pioneer one, I swear you look like a teenager!!!

I don't know the character Fran Drescher, but I reckon you would be bound to do her well - I can just imagine you're good at mimicing! :-D

I see you managed to slip a link in there - aren't you a clever sausage!!! :-) Knew you could do it! And you got pictures from the scanner up - put yourself a gold star on your chart - you did good, girl!!

Mystic Rose:That's me on the trampoline! Guess it was next to this pic! Fran was so easy to do!

Toraa: Yes, I think you should post them!
Thanks, I'm trying hard to take care of my ticker!

Annelisa: Yeah, I don't know why some don't enlarge. The pioneer pic was when I was a young teacher of 30!
Aren't you impressed with my techiness?!!! Thanks for all your persistence in trying to teach me!

Steve: Yes, Annelisa gets the award for inspiring the 2 most techless bloggers on the blogosphere!

I've had so much fun on special days at school over the years and at summer camp! My attic is like a big costume cupboard.

Hey, post pics of your scarecrow! I bet the bar ownwer was glad you came!! Too bad you're not here..I need a sidekick!

Meno: Hmm..I'm trying to picture the costume! Such great fun to really get in role I imagine!!

Old Lady: Me (with short hair)on the tramp..don't know how it got on there! I'd not be going on that thing these days! I had the most fun playing Olive Oil or Oyl?!

RDG:Yep, I'll let you know...only caught 1 kaflubb and 1 flutter...darn!
You might just have a whole batch of fun dressing up! It ws a summer camp thing, but my family also has the "silliness fun factor" big time. My mom can imitate anything!

I knew it was you on the trampoline, MOI! - Legs are the same :-D

I've got a scanner as well, and on mine you can reduce the area you're scanning, by grabbing hold of a dotted line round the edge and bringing it to fit the photo... When I've done this, it seem that the phot is bigger when uploaded to blogger... that might work...

And yes, MOI, I'm extremely impressed with your techiness - getting better every day!!! (You'll be writing a manual soon! :-)

Bobealia: I don't know Codco and Who on 22 Minutes? Cathy Jones?

Annelisa: Yeah, the daddy long legs give me away every time..even when I was really young!
Thanks for the tip..I don't know if I've got this or whether I'll find it! another tip to put on your new techy blog!

Manual? Not bloody likely! (Hey, do I sound English?!!)

Barbara: Steve reminds me of all the guys I went to summer camp with...we had so much fun just being goofy for the kids and ourselves. Wish he taught at my school!

They haven't let me know anything and it'll probably take a week to get a report. It only kaflubbed once so I don't know if they could detect much from that.

m.o.i. LOL that is you on the trampoline? My daughter and I used to have so much fun on the one she had. We would take turns doing 3 jumps, then one big one, which would 'launch' the other person real high. I miss that old trampoline she used to have! You look great as Fran and the other costumes look so fun! I hope the docs can learn from your one recorded kaflub so they can do something to make them go away.

There must be a way we could have some kind of Virtual Dress Up Party. Save a dance for me and I'll walk you home after.

Annelisa:You don't say?! Right!

Lynclay: Yes, that's me a few years ago. Wouldn't do it now!
I hope I find something out soon, too.

Brooksba: Kids always love to see their teachers hamming it up, especially in front of the whole school. I've done plenty of that!

Steve: Okay, sure thing! I think you have to be techy-inclined to organize those memes on the same site...let's face it, we'd had to enlist Annelisa's help!

Hope you're not kerflubbing anymore, now your monitoring's stopped, and you've messed with your meds?

Really am going to catch up on that sleep now... C U soon!

Mimi may tell you how to co-ordinate the Dress-up carnival as Steve and I have not yet approached that learning curve yet!!!

Not much kerflubbing and I put my meds down to what they were again!
